Ten jurisdictions ruled in our favour in Spain for Club La Costa and Diamond Resorts claims
Last week brought another strong set of Spanish court jurisdiction wins in timeshare claims involving Club La Costa and Diamond Resorts. Below are the contractual entities where M1 Legal has again had jurisdiction ruled in favour of the client.
- Club La Costa UK PLC EP
- Club La Costa UK PLC Sucursal en España
- Continental Resorts Services SL
In total, there were nine jurisdiction victories against associated Club La Costa companies.
M1 Legal also secured a jurisdiction win against Diamond Resorts, with the contractual entity listed as Diamond Resorts Europe Ltd Sucursal en España.
In each case, the defence argued the claim should not be heard in Spain. The courts have decided these matters can be heard in Spain.
All cases are continuing and are awaiting hearing dates.
